Last week I realized that all women, all over the world, care a lot about their hair. Whether they’re getting it dyed, cut, curled, permed, moisturized, pleated (braided) or straightened, women spend countless hours of their lives tending to their hair. However, it seems to me that we want what we can’t have. For instance, I wish my hair were curly, like Alan’s, but not as crazy :) Curly-haired women want straight hair, blonds want dark hair, brunettes lighten theirs, and many of the girls at the college want my hair.

The Girl Who Cried Kenya
Day 2000 of doing absolutely nothing. Well, it hasn’t exactly been 2000 days and we haven’t exactly been doing nothing. I don’t know why I was nervous, but the man who did the interview was very nice and I was hired on the spot. Continue Reading
Sara is a Dietitian!
As many of you know, I had been studying to take the Registered Dietitian exam. Well, no more! I am officially a dietitian and I couldn’t be happier. What’s important to know about dietitians is that we are legally bound to provide scientific-based nutrition information to the public. What that means is that we are the experts on food. Foodies, as I like to say.
