Hujambo!

I began in Kenya in 2007 as a volunteer with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). The organization is very similar to the American Peace Corps in terms of financial compensation, benefits, and number of countries it places in. I was working in the field of Information Technology, teaching and training at a small women’s college in Tala, Kenya.

I’m no longer a VSO volunteer but I’m still in Kenya. I’ve gotten a new job with Kenyan-based NGO International Livestock Research Institution. I work as a System Administrator supporting their high performance computing clusters.
