About
For the next two years Alan will be volunteering through an international, non-governmental organization called Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). The organization is very similar to the American Peace Corps in terms of financial compensation, benefits, and number of countries it places in. Alan will be working in the field of Information Technology, teaching and training at a small women’s college in Tala, Kenya.
This website is to show people what is going on in Kenya while Alan is volunteering. Tell your friends! Thanks!

Standing outside The Dog in PB with Matthew where I met you before you went to Kenya the first time. I hear things are going well. If you ever need assistance, though it’s a bit of a distance, ask for Elizabeth Soderholm at the US embassy in Togo. – Mark
Wow… I just visited your site… and I must say i’m in awe of your work.
What a great way to use your skills.
Hi,
Great site and great job!
I’m one of the founder members of GotIssuez.com – its a market research intending to give companies fast and accurate feedback on what their clients, actual and potential, think about them and their products.
Since you’re working in IT, you’ll probably come across quite a number of companies, some which you’ll smile at, some which u won’t smile too much at because of their products, services or customer care and public relations skills. We’d be more than happy if you could contribute your views on our site.
While you post you’ll be gaining points which you can use to bid (much like an auction, but using points) for an item off our Gift Gallery :)
If you’ve got any questions, you can always drop me a email.
Hope to be graced with your views and reviews!
Tony.
